About

I view design within the context of service and empathy, as a way to empower people to be more efficient and equipped when completing a task. Good design unlocks the inherent value a client is capable of delivering. I strive to be in a constant state of learning. I keep my sketchbook close and I read constantly. Research, writing, and maintaining a broad conceptual approach to a design are indispensable parts of my process.

I enjoy connecting with people. I’m at my best when I get to work on a team with a diverse set of skills. I seek to build confidence in those around me, and empower stakeholders to contribute to the creative process. I enjoy working with engineers, and I know just enough to code to be dangerous.

I live in Oakland with my wife, an extremely silly looking dog, 3 spiders, and several bicycles.
